Matthew Wai-Yiu Lee is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and woodworker in Toronto. 

Matthew has a Bachelor of Design from OCADU where he studied graphic arts. His thesis was an exploration of traditional crafts that included textiles, sewing, video, and photography. 

Matthew’s keen interest in craft has developed into a career in woodworking. He has a deep appreciation for the beauty of natural wood and the tools that shape it. He is passionate about designing and creating furniture. During his apprenticeship with woodworker Ed Kuramoto, he built and installed custom cabinetry, doors, and furniture. 

Now working from his own shop in the east end of Toronto, Matthew applies his design training and love for craft to every project.
